I shot this guy in the Wellfleet Audubon Sanctuary on Cape Cod over the weekend. I'm not really into nature photography but I couldn't pass this shot up. I'm not even sure what kind of hawk this is. I'm guessing it's a Red Tail

Skaket Sunrise (Skaket Beach Orleans, Cape Cod)
Panning is a pretty simple technique, that I've come to enjoy. It usually takes quite a few pans to get a decent result. This one is no exception. Some will like it & some won't, but then that's photography!

On my way back home from getting coffee this morning I traveled one of the oldest roads in the country. I took a series of pans (my latest new thing with my camera) and thought this one looked kind of cool. A little history for this Thanksgiving morning regarding Old Sandwich >> "Old Sandwich Road was originally a Wampanoag foot trail that became the first public road in the country. It later became a stagecoach route carrying mail and passengers between Plymouth and Sandwich. It remains now pretty much as the Pilgrims had left it, a scenic dirt road bordered by tall pine trees." http://www.greatislandatthepinehills.org/tour/oldsandwichroad.htm
